UNIVERSITY OF CALGARY

The University of Calgary first started off as a branch of the University of Alberta in 1944, finally separating and becoming an autonomous university in 1966. As an institution that offers diverse educational and research experiences for Canadian and international students, attendance at this university is greatly respected across the globe. With top undergraduate and graduate programs, admissions are fiercely competitive each year as high school graduates and those returning to their education seek approval.

All of the University of Calgary's classes moved online when COVID-19 hit the city. The university was extremely responsive in providing training for students and teachers during the transition from in-person to online, ensuring the health and safety of their community first and foremost. They also increased their mental health offerings as they know social distancing and isolating has been a difficult time for many.

You can support the University of Calgary at this time by providing them with your feedback. They are currently working on a transition plan to bring their students, faculty and visitors back to campus and would love to hear what their stakeholders have to say. The university is focused on ensuring everyone remains safe during these trying times, so they are seeking best practices in order to do so. Currently online classes are open for registration and in-person classes may reopen for this coming fall.
